Last year I remember writing this year-end note talking about “transformation and growth” at 8 80 Cities. I wrote about new partnerships and broadening our network both locally and globally.
Fast forward to today, I see a lot of fruits of that labour. While 2018 was all about laying a new groundwork and building relationships, 2019 was all about action!
Anybody that follows our twitter feed or reads our newsletter knows that this year has been action-packed! Our team had the privilege of working on some amazing groundbreaking projects that charted new territory for us as an organization and brought innovative approaches to support our mission to create better cities for all people. At the same time, we also enjoyed the opportunity to deepen and strengthen existing programs and partnerships.
Thank you to everyone who helped us make 2019 an amazing year! We can’t wait to show you what we’ve got planned for 2020.
