8 80 Streets Danforth is a pop-up street makeover that brings people together to build a safer and more vibrant Danforth for all.

Experience the block from Woodbine to Woodmount like you have never seen before! Installations will include art, landscaping elements, wikiblock furniture, parklets, music, games and more for people of all ages!

Why the Danforth and why this block?

  • Danforth is an iconic street and we want to grab people’s attention

  • Danforth Mosaic BIA and the Danforth East Residents Association are fantastic community partners

  • The local Councillors support safer and more active streets for all

  • This block has a high number of independent locally-owned businesses

Over just a couple days, we will bring proposed ideas to life, and let neighbours experience what can be. Come help us make it happen! We’re looking for volunteers to roll up their sleeves and get a little paint on their clothes. Sign up here.

8 80 Streets is all about reimagining Danforth to make it move livable and walkable for the community. If you are interested in helping program 8 80 Streets, October 5-6, share your idea.
