Open Streets TO expands its car-free pedestrian paradise this summer

Hello Danforth, hello Bloordale!

Open Streets TO, the city’s pre-eminent celebration of pedestrian culture, is set to reach further east and west than ever before.

On Aug. 21, the program will take over Yonge Street from Queen to Bloor, as well as Bloor Street from Parliament all the way to Dufferin. The program will stretch further Sept. 18, starting from Hampton Ave. on the Danforth, the longest it’s ever been.
